ABSTRACT
The business environment in the 21st century has remained very competitive and firms that will survive must be innovative and efficient in their operations. In Kenya, there is one company that has dominated the industry with 66 percent market share and 77.4 percent revenue, while the others are struggling to achieve sustainable performance. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and performance in telecommunication firms in Kenya. The objectives of the study are firstly to investigate the extend to which exploration and exploitation strategies are applied in telecommunication companies in Kenya; to evaluate the performance of the companies; to propose strategic decision making approaches that can be used to achieve better performance in the telecommunication firms in Kenya. It analysed thirty one studies via systematic review and the findings were that there is a positive joint effect of exploration and exploitation when the two capabilities are employed simultaneously. Organizational ambidexterity has a positive influence on organizational performance and the study recommends that the co-existence of exploration and exploitation is paramount to organizational performance.

The cocoa sector in Côte d'Ivoire has around 3,000 cooperatives, whose stated objective is to fight for an improvement in the living conditions of producers by acting for a better marketing price for their produce. Despite their large numbers, these cooperatives struggle to integrate and influence decision-making bodies so that the needs of producers can be taken into account. It is against this backdrop that two non-governmental organisations, INADES [ ], and INKOTA-Netzwerk, launched a collaborative initiative in 2019 involving international civil society organisations, human rights organisations and cooperatives, with a view to helping them build an advocacy framework to have a greater impact on decision-making in the sector through the establishment in 2020, of the "Ivorian platform for sustainable cocoa". And this desire to bring together agricultural cooperatives as well as the Ivorian civil society (south) and their partners (north) so that they can play their full part in the decision-making process within this sector has been the subject of a study. The results, findings, observations and information gathered as part of this research are set out in this article. The data was collected through documentary research and semi-directive interviews with Inades-Formation managers, civil society organisations that are members of the platform, cooperative group managers and trade union structure managers. In terms of results, the pooling of synergies between civil society organisations in the north and south, which began in 2020 under the slogan "Ivorian platform for sustainable cocoa", has led to the development and publication of an advocacy guide. This activity has also helped improve the administrative and economic organisation of cooperative structures. In the dynamic and fiercely competitive landscape of Kenya's telecommunications sector, ensuring project success is paramount for achieving financial prosperity. Strategic alignment serves as the cornerstone, orchestrating the harmonious interaction of all organizational facets towards the attainment of strategic objectives. However, despite its recognized significance, empirical evidence suggests a discernible gap between the formulation of strategy and the execution of projects, a misalignment that often precipitates project failures and missed deadlines. With a focus on addressing this critical issue, our study sought to investigate the effect of strategic alignment on project performance within Kenyan telecommunication companies. Employing a desktop research design, we meticulously analyzed existing data and scholarly literature. Our findings underscore a robust positive correlation between strategic alignment and various metrics of project success, including completion rate and schedule adherence. Notably, we observed that project complexity functions as a moderator, emphasizing the heightened significance of strategic alignment particularly in managing intricate projects. In light of these findings, our study advocates for the integration of strategic alignment principles throughout the project management lifecycle. Clear and transparent communication of strategy, coupled with robust mechanisms for aligning project objectives with organizational strategy, emerge as imperative strategies for enhancing project outcomes. By heeding these suggestions, stakeholders stand to capitalize on strategic alignment as a potent lever for driving project success, thereby contributing tangibly to national development objectives and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the claims system, analyze participants' responses regarding the effectiveness of the claims system and analyze obstacles and solutions in the online BPJS Employment process using the LAPAK ASIK program during the Covid 19 Pandemic. BPJS Employment is the Employment Social Security Organizing Agency which was formed by the Government with the aim of improving the quality of community welfare which has been clearly stated in Law Number 24 of 2011 and one of the programs is Old Age Security (JHT) Claims. The method used by the author in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data sources used are primary data sources including interviews, secondary data sources in the form of journals, books and tertiary data sources. The research location is at the BPJS Employment Jakarta Cilandak Branch office. From the results of the research conducted, the implementation of LAPAK ASIK has gone well and is in accordance with aspects of the digitalization system, the participants' responses have been very helpful and made it easier without the need to come to the Branch Office. The obstacles that hinder the implementation of online fun stalls are that participants are not yet proficient in using information and communication technology equipment, participants still have to come to the BPJS Employment Branch Office if they fail to upload documents during registration, and claim participants' internet network is unstable.

The real estate sector in Kenya serves as a fundamental catalyst for economic growth and development, yet it has been underexplored how pricing strategies influence Realtors' market share performance. This study aimed to fill this void by examining the effect of various pricing strategies on Realtors' market share in Kenya. Specifically, it delved into competitive pricing, value-based pricing, segmented pricing, and promotional pricing tactics. The study's objectives encompass identifying prevalent pricing strategies among realtors, assessing their respective market shares, analyzing the correlation between pricing strategies and market share, and exploring how organizational culture moderates this relationship. Employing a desktop research design, the investigation draws upon existing literature, industry reports, and market analyses. The findings indicate that while competitive pricing may yield short-term increases in market share, it could potentially compromise profit margins over time. Conversely, value-based pricing strategies, tailored to unique value propositions, tend to bolster market value and customer loyalty. Segmented pricing approaches stimulate market growth and geographical expansion. However, promotional pricing tactics, while effective in stimulating short-term demand, necessitate careful implementation to avoid long-term repercussions. In summary, adept pricing strategies significantly influence Realtors' market share performance in Kenya. This study underscores the imperative of aligning pricing strategies with organizational culture and market dynamics. Recommendations stemming from this research advocate for supportive policy frameworks, initiatives to enhance consumer awareness, and collaborative efforts among stakeholders to foster sustainable growth within the real estate sector.

The utilization of hydrogen fuel represents a global shift towards sustainable energy sources, yielding significant reductions in carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions. Despite the abundance of renewable energy options, widespread adoption has been slow, with persistent reliance on fossil fuels. The purpose of this study was to establish the effect of strategic innovation on the performance of hydrogen fuel consumption in Kenya. The proposed objectives of this study were: to determine the effect of product innovation on the performance of hydrogen fuel consumption in Kenya, and to assess the influence of process innovation on the performance of hydrogen fuel consumption in Kenya. Employing a desktop research methodology, the study emphasizes the pivotal role of strategic innovations in fostering sustainability, product and process innovation in hydrogen fuel consumption and the renewable energy sector. This study concludes that strategic innovations, including product innovation and process innovation have a positive effect on the performance of hydrogen fuel consumption in Kenya. Further, robust policy frameworks are essential to incentivize and facilitate innovation in hydrogen fuel production. The study recommends that the Kenyan government prioritize policy formulation to stimulate hydrogen generation and utilization, integrating incentives for research and development, tax exemptions, and financial support to encourage private investment and domestic industry growth, thus reducing reliance on imports and fostering economic diversification.
