ABSTRACT
Abstract: In examining the evolutive theory of the mind in the poetic and prosaic works of renowned romantic poets like Wordsworth and Coleridge, efforts have been to emphasize the importance of the imagination, thus presenting them as writers who refuse to concur with the Age of Enlightenment that championed rationality over spirituality. These apparent attempts to unauthenticate the occurrence of the mind as an actual event, and as something which had, or genuinely could have happened, obscure and not testify to a higher universal truth. The intention in this article is to extend beyond the appraisal of curiosity of the mind and the work of the imagination as we defend the point that the underlying truth to which Wordsworth’s and Coleridge’s poetry rested was not just spiritual but also empirical. In so doing, this article seeks to make the contribution that though the romantic movement started as a protest against the cold, new age of reason, it was heralded by the writers’ striving for freedom: freedom from oppressive regimes, and freedom from the chains of mediocre poetry. The argument here is that in the wake of the great enlightenment, romantic poets dramatize, implicitly or explicitly, the education involved in being a poet, as they meditate on what it is to be known and what it takes for a poet to be free. As they recognize and react against the burden of external cultural demands, they advocate mental boosting through books and soul searching, a method rejected by the Graveyard poets.

Abstract: Colleges and universities shoulder the mission of cultivating compound and high-quality "innovation and entrepreneurship" talents that can meet the needs of the current national strategic transformation and economic development. Therefore, it is necessary to cultivate college students' awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship. The cultivation of college students' awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship is the process from guiding students to establish basic cognition of innovation and entrepreneurship to discovering and strengthening awareness, and finally completing the process of shaping the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. In the current process of cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship awareness, colleges and universities have problems such as one-sided cognition, separation from professional training, and lack of ways to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship awareness. It needs to be solved by focusing on the sense of the times of education and training, forming an all-round and whole-process education concept, actively building a training and exchange platform, and establishing a maker culture.
ABSTRACT
Abstract: Chinese traditional poetry represents a part of Chinese traditional culture; poetry can express a long lingering mood with simple words. Although the number of words in Li Qingzhao’s “Slow, Slow Song” is small, the language expression is very distinctive and full of artistic conception, which attracts many scholars to translate. The translation of “Slow, Slow Song” belongs to poetry translation, and different versions have different methods in the process of translation. Translation is not a pure language conversion activity; it reflects the exchange of different cultures. This paper selects two English versions of Xu Yuanchong and Lin Yutang to appreciate them from the perspective of aesthetics. At the same time, in the pursuit of beauty, there is no lack of aesthetic sense in the English translation of Chinese classical words. Therefore, this paper will make a dialectical comparative analysis of “Slow, Slow Song” from the perspectives of translation aesthetics and translation criticism. With the continuous exchange and development of Chinese and Western cultures, translation, as an important way of cultural communication, is also developing and improving. Translation theories are constantly emerging. As a treasure of ancient Chinese culture, the translation of words is an important part of cultural exchange between China and the West. How to better show the charm of Chinese culture to the world, so that scholars from all over the world can better understand the treasures of Chinese culture, which is the goal and criterion that the translator pursues when translating poetry.

ABSTRACT
Abstract: Nation-building is a very challenging endeavor in the context of poly-ethnicity as every ethnic group has its own values and vision of life. In this guise, the political hierarchy has the bounded duty to reconcile the visions of the different groups for the benefit of the community. In the face of this ethno-linguistic complexity and in respect of linguistic diversity and linguistic human rights, some African stateshave officially adopted a policy of multiculturalism while promoting social cohesion. This study therefore examines the pedagogic relevance of Papiackum proverbial discourses in charting the way for cultural co-existence and social cohesion. From the theoretical paradigm of Functionalism, this paper is based on the postulation that, Papiackum proverbial discourses are speech acts that reveal the ideological vision of cultural inclusion and community cohesion. Since oral tradition has a siamese relationship with its socio-cultural context, a socio-pragmatic reading of these proverbs depicts the philosophical worldviews of the Papiackum people as one of inclusive existence. The Papiackum is a speech community in the Ngoketunjia Division, North West Region of the Republic of Cameroon.
